This bathroom copper sink has a standard 1.5" diameter hole at the bottom center and it does not have an overflow system. This hammered bathroom copper sink is a beautiful piece of art. It is designed for over-the-counter mounting because its rim is rounded.

It has embossed braids all the way around it, details can be observed in the pictures.

From a copper sheet the wise artisan hands transform it into this unique piece. The hammer footprint is very visible. The reddish/oxidated texture is characteristic of natural copper when it is cooled down from red-hot temperature using cold water, technique in use by the coppersmiths. The border is rounded, this allows to sit on your countertop.

This copper sink was made from one sheet of copper, raised with the artist hammer, there are no welded joints, as a matter of fact, the braids were pulled out of the copper sheet itself.

Hammering the red-hot copper is an ancient technique the coppersmiths still use, where no power toos are used, just the furnace to heat the copper and a hammer to give it the shape. We got this bathroom copper sink from the skilled coppersmiths from Santa Clara del Cobre, Mexico. The finish is in a dark brownish color. Suitable for your bathroom, it will add a unique home accent making it a very special point of attraction in your bathroom.

This copper sink will not rust or become greenish because the patina will protect it from humidity and oxidation. The copper sheet is 16 gauge (0.05" thickness).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The patina can be damaged faster if toothpaste stays for long periods of time on the sink surface, because of this, washing it after brushing teeth is recommended.
